The Alfred Park Hotel is a beautifully restored heritage building built in 1848 for a whaling boat captain. Alfred Park is under new management and they really want to be the best in the business. To start with, the rooms are all in the process on being renovated! No dark, damp rooms in this joint!
We are located close to Central Railway Station just opposite Prince Alfred Park, which has its own swimming pool and tennis courts. Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Centrepoint Tower and Sydney’s main shopping centre are just a brisk walk away. We are also within walking distance of the Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, Centennial Park and the new Fox Studios. Trains, buses and taxi fares to these places are also very reasonable.
