There is no age limit to be our guest. Generally speaking, the term “youth” as used by Hostelling International does not actually relate to age as a parameter but to one’s spirit of youth.
Our Hostel staff members have been through various travel and cultural exchange experiences (backpacking trips through various continents, university trips, leading mountain excursions, hospitality management and culinary art studies, overseas exchange & study programs, etc.) Besides, we all share an interest in adventure tours and the fascinating experience of welcoming and dealing with people from different cultures.
We believe we have turned Hostel Internacional Mendoza into a cozy place we look forward to coming to. While the local flavor to our hostel is noticeable , it also makes it a space where travellers from different cultures can all spend time together and feel right at home.
We thought it was a must for our hostel to be located downtown yet in a safe and attractive part of town. What's more, to add to the home feeling, private bathrooms are a feature few other hostels can beat.
Each and every one of us brings in their knowhow to make sure everyone's needs are met: from typical meals (asado nights, live music), advice for mountain climbers or those with an interest in adventure tours, Internet access, Spanish, salsa and folk dance lessons (with lots of practice!!), up to “truco” and soccer competitions, Andes foothills biking tours and lots more.
