The Darwin YMCA is the Northernmost YMCA in Australia and is located close to both the waterfront and the City Center of Darwin.
The YMCA of Darwin was formed in 1964 and is a member of the National Council of YMCA's of Australia and part of an international organization which operates in over 100 countries.
The YMCA of Darwin is ideally located within the City of Darwin, with magnificent views of the harbour and surrounds. The hostel is surrounded on three sides by lush tropical gardens and the habour on the fourth side.
We are only a five minute walk from the centre of the city and all that Darwin has to offer. We have a tour desk that is updated weekly and friendly, helpful staff. Relax in the pool, stroll through the gardens, enjoy the panoramic views or just do nothing; the YMCA of Darwin is the place to do it.
