Kerteminde is a city in central Denmark, located in Kerteminde municipality on the island of Funen. It is a small harbor town surrounded by farms. A popular tourist attraction in the area is Egeskov Castle, Europe's best preserved renaissance water castle. Kerteminde is also recognized for its world-class restaurant, Rudolf Matis.
