The Old Post Office is situated in the heart of Falmouth town, a short walk from the Train station, Beach, Pendennis Castle, National Maritime museum and some beautiful coastal footpaths. Being in the centre of Falmouth gives the Old Post Office a unique access to this lively Cornish town.
We are a family run business that provides homely, elegant and spacious accommodation. The rooms are equipped with a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms themselves have their own keys, are serviced every day and they include linen and towels. There is a large and tidy bathroom and another separate toilet, as the rooms are not en suite.
A continental Breakfast is also provided for all of our guests, which includes fresh fruit and croissants from the local baker. Although we don’t cook a breakfast we have affiliations with a lovely café around the corner that will give our customers a discount on cooked breakfasts.
The communal area has a large TV with DVD player and a wide selection of films, books, games and free Internet access for the rainy days. We have a decked BBQ area that is also a place for smokers as the rest of the establishment is non-smoking. We have a lockable storage space if guests want to leave valuables or luggage during the day.
