Berunes is ideally situated at an amazing seafront. This place is centrally located for those who are travelling between north and south; like between Skaftafell National Park and the Myvatn area or in connection to Ferry Norraena in Seydisfjordur.
The Hostel is a charming farmhouse, built at the beginning of last century and yet offers some modern facilities and small & romantic double and family rooms. Berunes also offers 3 self-catering cottages, each of them can take from 2–6 people. Altogether we can accommodate up to 34 persons. You can bring your own sleeping bag, rent sheets or opt for a made–up bed.
You get breakfast and meals typical of Icelandic cuisine in Gestastofan; our small family restaurant next to the Hostel.
