The Ranthambhore National Park houses the Tiger's Haven, which benchmarks the success of Project Tiger in India and showcases the endangered animal in near-natural surroundings.
The Park covers over 390 sq km of forest and is a unique wildlife oasis in the midst of colourful villages. Waterfalls, lakes and numerous streams, cliffs, valleys and plateaus are in vivid contrast to the rugged terrain of the Park area.
The Sanctuary is home to a number of animals besides the tiger; leopards, caracals, jungle cats and various kinds of deer. Migratory birds home into the Park's many lakes during the winter months and the flocks of Greylegs, Ruddy Shelduck and
Pintails.
Among others, attract scores of bird lovers. Around 350 species of birds inhabit the Park, many of which can often be seen flying around the resort. The Tiger Villa offers you luxury and budget hospitality at a location nearest to the National Park.
