Richard Bartley is your host and his hospitality is legendary. Having returned to Ireland 15 years ago, it took him 3 years to complete the purpose built hostel. Ever since then the has had thousands of satisfied visitors, many of which have returned or recommended Brookside Hostel to others and whose Testimonials confirm that Brookside Hostel is well worth visiting.
Richard not only provides first class hostel facilities, but is always willing to take the time to talk to guests and offer advice on places to visit, what to look out for and how to get there. In fact Richard is famous for producing individually drawn maps specific to what each person has requested and generally gives a full history lesson of the area, before letting the guests set off the day!
