Cashel Holiday hostel is a family run hostel centrally located in a 250 years old
Georgian house which oozes character and charm.
Comfortable, clean, warm and friendly. Relax in our large bright sunny dinning room/kitchen or rest by the fire in the lounge/games room.
Cashel Hostel is a 50 bed house that has both Dorm and Private en-suite rooms available. All bed linen is supplied, towel hire available, and laundry will be done for you for a small charge. Internet available at the local Library.
We take pride in providing you with a quiet, restful setting that will compliment your days exploring the area on some of the walks available along the River Suir or riding a hire bike, where you may see badger, fox, birds and wetlands wild life all in the shelter of 1000 year old Holycross and Athassel Abbeys, keeps and castles and rural farms.
Cashel, a small market town of approx 3000 people, is not only famous for the Rock of Cashel and an extensive collection of rare books, maps and artifacts housed at the Bolton Library, but also for a great night of Irish music, song and dance at Bru Boru every evening.
St: John the Baptist and the Church of Ireland, (both very beautiful) ancient town walls and many other sites of interest can be found through the Visitors Hertiage centre on Main Street of Cashel.
