Kilcommonlodge is a
small, family run holiday hostel at the northwest coast of Ireland.
The traditional style house nestles in a valley amongst mature gardens and is overlooking the sea and the cliffs.
You can stay in small dorms dorms or Family, Private rooms or pitch your tent in the garden.
This is a quiet unspoilt area and we have maps and tips and lots of ideas to help you explore it. You can walk on high cliffs or beautiful beaches, surf, dive, go fishing, visit the many prehistoric sites or shop for knitwear or go on boats-trip to the islands. You can also simply relax by the fire or find a quiet spot for yourself in the garden.
If you do not want to self cater we will cook for you using lots of locally or home produced foods. We also cater for vegetarians and other diets.
Kilcommon Lodge can be reached by road or by private bus from Ballina or Castlebar. Please ring us for details.
Look out for our white, round signposts. we can organize bus or boats trips for groups.
