The 200 year-old corn mill, along with the millrace, was saved over a decade ago by local people, who wanted to encourage community and cultural initiatives, create business and tourism opportunities and contribute to employment prospects in the Inishowen area.
It's nice to know that when you stay or use the facilities, you are also making a direct contribution to the local economy too.
The hostel has a large bright self catering kitchen and dining area. Catering equipment and utensils are supplied. The kitchen is also accessible for guests with disabilities.
Meals for large groups can be booked in advance. If you'd like to enjoy your food out in the Donegal air, have a picnic in our mature garden along the banks of the Crana River. (Also wheelchair friendly.)
