Beit Yatziv was founded in 1953 as a youth hostel/public educational center in the Negev. Today it is owned by the Sacta-Rashi Foundation and the Be'er Sheva Municipality, which are both committed to preserving its character and mission as an educational facility serving the residents of Be'er Sheva and surrounding areas.
Beit Yatziv is a community-based educational institution that is suited to a wide range of activities. The campus features a tranquil guest-house in the heart of the city, and classrooms that can be used for various purposes – classrooms suited to learning in small or large groups, and conference rooms equipped with the latest technological equipment. Beit Yatziv provides all the facilities for seminars, conferences and conventions that are held over short or long periods, in a comfortable and pleasant setting and with all the amenities – meals, refreshments and educational aids for day seminars; full-board accommodation in the quiet and comfortable guest-house for longer meetings
