Staying at Castelfiorentino Youth Hostel is good for people that want to escape the city and have a relaxing holiday in the quietness of the country side.
The hostel was built in year 2000 and has 4-bedded dorms, all provided with lockers.
Castelfiorentino is a nice little village immersed in the Tuscany's country side, in the Florence area, about 40 km far from city centre.
Here you can visit the old part of the village with its 2 ancient main churches ( Santa Verdiana and San Francesco ); by train ( station is only 600 meters far from the hostel ) you can easily reach the most important cities in Tuscany as Florence ( 40 km ), Siena ( 40 km ) and Pisa ( 50 km ).
If you come by car you will also be able to reach the most beautiful medioeval villages as San Gimignano ( 25 km ), Volterra ( 30 km ) and Monteriggioni ( 35 km ).
