Villa Mucellena situated in the peaceful and atmospheric hills around Siena amidst the green of the holm oaks and chestnut trees of the Montagnola Senese district, in the middle of the ancient Via Francigena, via Cassia and Via Aurelia, 18 km fromn Siena and 50 from Florence, is the ideal place in which to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Tuscany.
Thanks to its extremely panoramic position, set at an altitude of 500 mt above sea level, the summer climate is dry and ventilated perfect for excursions in the surrounding woodlands, and criss-crossed by pathwaysfor those who enjoy trekking and mountain biking.
The Villa has seven bright and peaceful apartments, furnished in typical Tuscan style and equipped with every comfort.
Our restaurant has a welcoming indoor dining room and a porch adjacent to the park. Guests can take advantage of our chacteristic Tuscan menu by request.
As part of our Bed and Breakfast service, breakfast is served in the breakfast room in our bar area.
The windows offer a view of the charming Tuscan countryside : from the high Val d’Elsa to Val d’Arbia, with glimpses of the towers of San Gimignano and other medieval towns , such as Volterra.
In front of the Villa, in a park populated by age-old pine trees, oaks and holm oaks you can take long walks and lose yourself in peacefully relaxing moments or take a dip in our beautiful swimming pool, enjoying your summer to the full.
