Petra Gate Hostel is located in the city center, just a 50 yards from the city centre, and 3 minutes walk from the roundabout of Wadi Musa, where the bus stops. The hotel has been highly recommended by many guide books including the Lonely Planet, Lets Go, Middle East, and Japanese guide books.
We offer free transportation to the site, free luggage storage, international telephone call service, laundry as well as half price internet services. We also offer satellite TV and movies! Our English speaking, super friendly and helpful staff are here to answer all your questions, and to help you during your stay.
In our hostel you will find dorms, single and double rooms, most of them with bathroom and toilet.
At night, our customers can enjoy tasty family cooking, and try our famous Jordanian Menssaf and Maklouba. This is followed by a lively Bedouin music party, while drinking coffee
flavored with cardamom, or mint tea! We also offer our guests access with reduced prices to swimming pool and to the Turkish Bath.
We organize transportation to all areas of Jordan by mini bus, such as Wadi Rum, Aqaba, the King's Highway with Dana, Karak, Madaba, Mount Nebo and Amman. We can pick up two or more people at Amman or Aqaba airports, and drive them to Petra in our cars, for approximately half of the usual taxi fare!
