Domburg is a beach resort on the North Sea, on the north coast of Walcheren in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is a part of the municipality of Veere, and lies about 11 km northwest of Middelburg. The town received city rights in 1223. Before 1816, Domburg consisted of two municipalities: Domburg-Binnen and Domburg-Buiten. Between 1816 and 1997, it was a single municipality, which merged with a number of other municipalities to form Veere.
