Brekken is a village and former municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality was created in 1926, when Røros municipality was split in four (Røros, Brekken, Røros landsogn and Glåmos). At that time Røros landsogn had a population of 1,098. On 1 January 1964 the four municipalities were reunited under the name Røros. Prior to the merger Brekken had a population of 964.
