Skottgarden is located in Brekken, a small mountain community 700m above sea level, between Roros and the Swedish border, 35 km away from Roros and 40 km west of Funasdalen (in Sweden).
Come to Skottgarden when you want peace and quiet. Here you can walk in the countryside for hours, summer and winter, without meeting crowds of people.
Today Skottgarden has seven rooms and can offer accommodations for up to 17 people for a reasonable price. Each room contains a washstand with hot and cold water. Showers and toilets are located in the corridors.
Skottgarden has a cosy sitting- room with an open fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering.

Skottgarden has a 150 year-old tradition of providing hospitality, and many of the events that happened in the olden days are still happening here.
Skottgarden has been in the same family since 1774. The hosts make it a priority to welcome their guests and get to know them.
At Skottgarden there is a great contrast between summer and winter. We always have snow in wintertime,
Skottgarden is open year-round. In summertime we also rent out a small
cabin. Skottgarden also owns a mountain farm that may be rented by the week in the summertime.
