The Rising Cock is a party hostel where backpackers, international students and holiday makers come to relax and party. We offer you a different atmosphere and layout; it is like staying at your mate's massive beach house, a place where you truly feel at home.
Rising Cock has 4 person dorms that have both single and queen-size bunks offering you a quiet, secure place to sleep after a long night out. Along with private lockers we offer 24 hour check-in and security.
We have large common areas for whatever you may be interested in: sunny terraces, a game room/cafe, and a massive living room with DVD & music library along with free, high-speed internet and wi-fi access in every room. We are centrally located in the heart of Lagos just around the corner from the best restaurants, bars and beaches.
Lagos, Portugal is a backpackers’ paradise. With so many beautiful beaches within walking distance from the Rising Cock, and with cheap food and drink throughout the town you will see why everyone that comes here loves Lagos.
