Founded in the Summer of 2004, Old Town Hostel warmly welcomes you to Sibiu. Tremendously located in the oldest and most romantic square of the city, we are proud to be the only hostel in Sibiu.
We have customized a 450 year old German Saxon building, that for centuries hosted a pharmacy with an alchemist lab.
A light and inspiring atmosphere has been created by large old windows, which contrast with the dark corners of our brick arcade basement.
Located in Transilvania, Sibiu offers an extraordinary blend of old and new. The region is well renowned for its efforts to preserve its mystic charm, whilst being in tune to modernisation.
All of Sibiu`s amenities, such as pubs, museums and historical monuments are located within minutes of the Old Town Hostel.
Old Town Hostel is a project with the aim of establishing self determined multicultural dialogue between locals and travellers. To serve this purpose, in the near future we intend to open a cultural meeting place with games, theatre, films and music in our cellar
