Bridge of Orchy is - well almost literally a bridge, save for a few small houses scattered around it, and of course a renowned Scottish highland hotel, known to thousands of UK and international guests.
This is possibly the most accessible remote destination hotel in Scotland, being on the main alternative A82 road route north from Glasgow (which also doubles up as the Road to the Isles further north) having its own railway station on the famous West Highland Railway Line, and being a key staging post on the equally famous West Highland Way, undisputedly the finest long distance walking route in Britain.
In short this is a remarkable hotel in a sensational, timeless location.
