The Glebe Barn Hostel & Outdoor Centre is a conversion of a 19th century barn with magnificent views across to the mainland. We provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for large groups, families and individual backpackers.
We also run Residential Summer Courses with full board. Schools, University clubs and societies, church youth groups, family groups or simply a bunch of friends can enjoy an exclusive let of this delightful building.
An Independent Hostel recommended to the Ramblers Association, the Glebe Barn is a fabulous base from which to explore the Isle of Eigg.
This is a Hebridean island of outstanding natural beauty, where you can watch Eagles soar over An Sgurr, visit the famous Singing Sands, enjoy the wonderful bird and plant life, or explore the island's many historical and archaeological sites. Music is a deep part of the tradition here, and there are ceilidhs on many weekends in summer.
