Pitlochry is a bustling, blooming small Victorian town at the very centre of Scotland.
Situated on the River Tummel it comes complete with salmon Fish Ladder and Festival Theatre.
It contains the smallest whisky distillery in Scotland (free tours) and a 300-year-old Inn brewing its own ales.
Set amidst hills, lochs and woodland Pitlochry makes a superb base for walkers and cyclists, as well as for tours by vehicle to a variety of attractions.
