Hotel Smrek is situated in the centre of the town Liptovský Hrádok. The first written reference is from 1341. From the east, south, west and north the town Liptovský Hrádok is surrounded by mountains Nízke Tatry, Západné Tatry and Vysoké Tatry. The town border rivers Belá and Váh. The town is rich to numerous cultural and historical sights. The thermal springs are also part of this region.
