Hotel Zalec is a medium-sized family hotel located in the centre of Slovenia. Our idea is that every guest must leave our house satisfied.
During your stay with us you can enjoy the well-preserved nature and historical beauty of the Savinja Valley and visit numerous mountain houses surrounding Žalec.
Žalec itself offers you attractions such as the of the memorial room of the composer Risto Savin, the fire brigade museum and the Church of Saint Nicholas. In the nearby town of Zempeter you can admire a famous Roman Necropolis and Pekel limestone cave.
On Fridays and Saturdays various cultural and entertainment events, including dancing, are held in the hotel restaurant during which our guests can enjoy specialities of the house and Slovenian national dishes as well as other food prepared to order by our cooks.
Close to the hotel there is a sports centre with tennis, volleyball, basketball and handball courts and a football pitch. Moreover, at Gotovlje, a few kilometres away from Žalec, horseback riding is available.
