The staff are ready and willing to help you with any and all your plans for visiting South Africa and they have a genuine desire to ensure you have as enjoyable trip as possible. The tour desk will help with all your plans and they have accessibility to some of the best priced tours locally, throughout South Africa and also to neighbouring countries. Most embassies are also in the vicinity.
Pick ups from Johannesburg airport or Pretoria central are free for stays of five nights or more, but even if you stay for fewer nights the pick-up rates are still excellent value.
And while we do the work you enjoy our good sized pool set in the lovely spacious garden ideal for a quiet read while soaking up some of the SA rays, cook a traditional SA braai, chill under the lapa with a beer (or something weaker or stronger!) from our bar, watch cable tv, catch up with news from home on our ISDN computer etc, etc
Many of the beds have newly purchased mattresses and bedding, hot showers are available all day and we take great pride in the cleanliness of our hostel and we even have free tea and coffee available all day!
Our braais are fast becoming legendary and we will also cook you breakfast and/or dinner on request, do your laundry and collect you from or deliver you to the airport or anywhere else if we can. If it is Baz Bus or car rental you want, we can arrange it all to be at our door.
