» Description Albourne is a charming Cape Dutch style residence set in large landscaped gardens, on the road to Vergelegen Wine Estate and Erinvale Golf Course. Ideally located in Somerset West, 40 km East of Cape Town, Albourne is run by Dutch owners, Joop and Trudy Weterings, who put a great accent on service to our guests.

We offer comfortable bedrooms and spacious garden units, which are semi self-catering. The rooms have coffee/tea facilities and a TV can be supplied on request. The garden rooms overlook the swimming pool or the garden.

Breakfasts are served on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool with lovely mountain views. For dinner, choose from the many fine restaurants nearby. We offer secure parking for our guests.

Many excellent golf courses are nearby, and guests enjoy Albourne's membership to the international Gary Player designed Erinvale Course.

Drive along the wine routes of Helderberg, Stellenbosch and Fransschhoek. Walk through the proteas & fynbos in the Helderberg Nature Reserve. Watch the wales along the coast or relax on the beaches of Strand & Gordon's Bay. Discover the amazing colony of penguins on Boulders beach or visit the historic Vergelegen Wine Estate, 2 km up the road. German, Dutch, French and Spanish spoken, but most important is the language of hospitality.
