Port Elizabeth Backpackers is within easy walking distance of the beach, places to eat and drink, shops, clubs, parks, museums and transport and has a wonderful view of the sea and harbour from the rooms.
The hostel is clean, light and airy, with original Oregon Pine flooring. There is a common room with TV, games and library and an outside courtyard with braai.
Laundry facilities, a well equipped kitchen and bar are available for general use.
But why cook for yourself? Hearty breakfasts are served daily, and other meals are also offered, often traditional.
