PJ van der Walt, owner and host, created this space for the individual who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet be 10-15 minutes away from the city centre, the beach and Cape Town’s DF Malan International Airport.
The estate itself is on a large tract of land nestled next to the sensitive wetlands of the Black River. Steeped in history, the village continues to make history by sustaining itself and the resident community through micro-enterprise.
We have 14 double rooms and no dorms. Our rooms only sleep 2, As well as the facilities listed below, we offer our visitors hot showers, weekly BBQ's, 2 pool tables and a fire place to warm up beside on cold, chilly winter nights.
