We initially started out 10 years ago, as the first really large backpacking lodge in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. We have subsequently expanded our business, and are now able to offer varying types of affordable accommodation in a range of different guest houses, executive flats, cottages and apartments in Observatory, Mowbray and Rondebosch.
Our main guest lodge, Riverview Lodge, can accommodate up to 120 people in various combinations of single, twin and dorm bedrooms, ideal for sports teams, Universities, Technicons, N.G.O.’s as well as back packers and backpacking groups.
We also have a 10 bedroomed guest house in Observatory, which provides very affordable B&B accommodation, as well as several self catering cottages in Observatory and Mowbray, ideal for short or long term student accommodation.
In Rondebosch we have 16 executive flats as well as a lovely, recently renovated 10 bedroomed Victorian house. These are situated very close to U.C.T. and are ideal for visiting academics and students, or for ‘holiday lets’, over the christmas holidays.
We also specialise in providing short term leases (5 months) to foreign students involved in U.C.T.’s international academic program (I.A.P.O.) , and other international academic programs. As these cottages are occupied during term time, they become available as holiday accommodation in December and January.
