Deep in the heart of the Overberg you will find the quaint, unspoiled, village of Greyton surrounded by the Riviersonderend Mountains.
The village is named after Sir George Grey, a governor of the Cape and it is as if very little has changed since the land first pleased his eyes. This village makes travelers feel as though they have stepped back in time.
As you enter the main street of Greyton you will find the Historic Post House, one of two village National Monuments. Built in 1860, the Post House building, originally served as the village Post Office. Today, the original structures have been restored to provide Country Inn accommodation at its best.
The Post House offers superior country accommodation and boasts a quaint old English Pub with four Draughts and a selection of about 40 Malt whiskeys and of course huge fireplaces.
It is renowned for its superbly prepared country cooking served in the elegant dining room. Our new Chef, Brad Ball has as his personal goal an ambition to establish us as a top ten restaurant!
A Charming Listed Building form 1860, this converted Post Office is the ultimate romantic destination.
Only 140 kms from Cape Town, a brilliant and favorite honeymoon destination, it even features its own micro coffee roastery.
