» Description Located in the heart of Madrid, in the district of the Austrias and to meters of the famous Puerta del Sol, the HOSTAL LUZ has 12 rooms, doubles, triples and of double bed, with or without bath, decorated with a very cosy style. All of them are equipped with conditioned air, TV by satellite and WIFI connection to Internet.

The Hostal Luz is in a very advantageous geographic location in the center of Madrid, in the well-known zone like of the Austrias, a district with a cosmopolitan air, home to a large variety of service industries that operate in an ambience of a convivial welcome, cultural splendours and a vibrant nightlife.

From this enclave, it is very easy to make a route by the city that must contemplate a walk through the periods of its medieval glory and the later legacies of the Hapsburgs and the Bourbons, but lacking in comparison to other great Spanish cities, an ancient past, the principal attraction of the city is itself, in its friendliness, its gaiety and its eccentricities. And in addition, a trio of museums, amongst the most important in the world, that make up a Golden Mile of Art, the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Reina Sofía.

Besides art, Madrid offers opportunities for upmarket purchases in the boutiques of Gran Vía, Preciados and Serrano streets, but for most people, to experience the city requires no more than a relaxed drink in the area around the Habsburg taverns of the Plaza Mayor, in the exotic bars of the Chueca district, or to eavesdrop in the terrace cafes of the intellectual quarter between Santa Ana and Huertas, often to the sound of Jazz coming from the many bars, and in high summer, in one of the many open-air terraces of the Paseo de la Castellana and the Retiro Park.

Madrid offers in addition, the Royal Palace, other important palaces that dot the city, the exhilarating conjunction of the Plaza del Sol, the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza de la Villa as well as the two emblematic fountains of Madrid, Cibeles and Neptune.
