There is more than just one name for this extraordinary high alpine resort in the Swiss Alps. The three villages of Flims, Laax and Falera are stretched around the bottom of mount Crap Sogn Gion, the main access to the white arena. A total of 29 lift facilities and 220 kilometers of slopes, located at altitudes between 1,050 and 3,018 meters above sea level, are at your disposal.
Snowboarders and free-skiers go crazy about the halfpipes, the railpark and the kicker lines in Laax! In summertime there is even more to explore in Flims, Laax and Falera. have a look under the menue summer/winter.
The resort is very easy to reach by public transport or roads and is not far away from the country capital, named Chur. Also close to Laax is Vals, the famous thermal bath, build by the international known swiss architekt Peter Zumthor. The village Falera is building a public observatory, which will give to the ressort even a scientific touch and makes the whole area worth to visit not only for winter or summer sports.
The hostel is located near to Laax-Murschetg, the main cable car station with the public bus stop named "Laax-Marcau". Different rooms (on privat or shared base) for every budget with breakfast and vegetarian diner.
