The Lake-Side-Lodge wishes you a very warm welcome to our cosy hostel right in the heart of beautiful Switzerland! Lake Side Lodge, Faulensee, Switzerland is the perfect place for groups and individuals who wish to stay near the beautiful Lake Thun and Bernese Oberland.
This is the perfect starting point for a wide variety of activities.
There are 2, 4, 6 and 12 person rooms, and a 32-bed dormitory, with a total of 80 beds.
The Lake-Side-Lodge offers you an amazing panorama view of the beautiful Lake Thun in the peaceful town of Faulensee. It is situated 100 metres from the lake, 500 metres from the train station, 2km from Spiez, 10km from Thun and just 10km away from Interlaken.
Faulensee offers 4 specialty restaurants with lakeside terraces and superb fish meals. We provide advice on biking and hiking tours into the Bernese Oberland in the very heart of Switzerland. Bike-rental and biking/hiking-maps are available. The lodge is also perfect for organizing Ice/Climbing,
Paragliding, Rafting, Canyoing, Bungy,Sailing or Ski trips.
A large, healthy breakfast is served as is a dinner-buffet for groups of 12+. There is also a self catering kitchen for your own cooking. Other facilities include our own sports field and a wonderful lounge with internet, table-soccer,pinball, chess and a library for you to useand of course the lake is only 100m away, There is a laundry service available with a tumble dryer.
