The hostel of Basel City was opened on 22nd March 2005. Our second Youth Hostel in Basel is situated just three minutes on foot from the station. The inner courtyard - an informal garden - offers a comfortable spot in which to relax in the heart of the city.
In just a few minutes you can be on Bahnhofplatz with a huge choice of trams headed in all directions, Check-in is between 3 and 11 pm.
Double and single rooms in the best location. The central location in the working-class district of Gundeldingen provides an ideal starting point for trade fair visitors and exhibitors as well as for globetrotters or group members who would like to stay in a single or double room.
