Denizli is a city in southwestern Turkey. It has a population of 275,480 (2004 census) and is the capital city of Denizli Province.
Nearby are the Pamukkale hot springs with Hierapolis, as well as ruins of the city of Laodicea on the Lycus, the ancient metropolis of Phrygia.
Apart from the Cotton Castle tourist attraction, the city of Denizli is known for its textile industry and cockerel production.
