Ratu Kini’s is the ultimate Fiji backpacker on stunning Mana Island. Lying 30km off the west coast of the main island, Mana is in the Mamanuca group and world famous for its tourist destination. With a mix of secluded and relaxing beaches, water sports, and evenings of cultural activities, Ratu Kini Backpacker provides a memorable destination for travellers .
Our main activities include island hopping, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling and visiting the island used to film Tom Hanks movie “Castaway”.
Daily Activities – they include bush walks, cultrural entertainment, kayaking, kite surfing (byo equipt.), exploring the interior of the island, swimming and snorkeling in colourful tropical seas. You can take trips around the village and join the Kava parties or volleyball matches with the friendly villagers. We have organised activities each evening after dinner, which will involve your participation. This is always fun.
Fijian Night – every Thursday we have a special Fijian Traditional night when we have a “lovo” (food cooked in an earth oven) and the staff put on simple cultural show with lots of Fijian music and dances.
Sunset beach – a very popular beach, one that is always visited by tourists that come to Mana. It is well known for its fine sand and beautiful crystal clear waters.
Island hopping – a full day trip visiting resorts on other island, snorkeling and a beach picnic lunch. Fishing – in the deep, we go handline, trawling, and spear fishing, using our Mana technique. Mana Island is known for great fishing experience, especially when it is your first.
