Cenário Catita occupies a historic building on Calçada Marquês de Abrantes in Estrela, with the kind of high ceilings and spacious rooms that modern buildings can't replicate. Freshly painted, clean, and well-maintained despite the low price.

This is a no-frills operation. No events, no bar, no communal kitchen. What you get is a clean bed, professional reception staff, good views, and excellent value. The flat-screen TV and satellite channels in rooms are a nice touch.

The Estrela location puts you slightly outside the tourist center, but trams and buses connect you quickly. Walking to Santos and Cais do Sodré takes 15-20 minutes along the river.
