Wostel opened on Calle Héroes de Sostoa 57 in the Carretería de Cádiz neighborhood, 5 minutes walk from Malaga's central María Zambrano train station — the Cercanías hub that runs every 20 minutes to the airport and hosts the AVE high-speed trains to Madrid, Seville, and Cordoba. It's not the tourist-trap heart of Centro (you're a 15-minute walk to Calle Larios) but it's the practical address if you're city-hopping Andalucía.

The hostel sleeps around 50 in pod-style bunks across 4, 6, and 8-bed mixed dorms, plus private single and double 'Hubs' (a larger pod with a door, not just a curtain). Every bed has a reading light, USB socket, curtain, and locker accessible from inside the pod. There's air conditioning in every dorm, a self-service laundry, and luggage storage.

What Wostel actually does differently: it enforces quiet hours. The rooftop is a small terrace, not a party bar. The social space is a ground-floor lounge with free coffee all day. It's the Malaga hostel reviewers pick when they specifically want to work remotely or sleep after an 8 am train. Cigdem from Ireland: 'comfortable, clean and silent, which wasn't easy to find.'

Breakfast is available for €5 — fair but unremarkable. Romina at reception (named by reviewer after reviewer) is the person travelers call out as the reason they'd stay again.
