Villa Saint Exupery Beach Hostel

Villa Saint Exupery Beach lives on Rue Sacha Guitry, a quiet side street 3 minutes from Place Masséna and 5 minutes from the pebbles of the Baie des Anges. This is the central/downtown property — the brand also runs Villa Saint Exupery Gardens up in Cimiez, which is bigger, greener and way less social, so make sure you booked Beach if you want the nightlife pitch.

The hostel keeps a full social programme: downstairs bar open late, included rooftop terrace, and a pub crawl that leaves most nights around 21h30 (the crawl uses the Vieux Nice circuit — Wayne's, Ma Nolan's, Shapko — so it's the standard, not a special version). Rooms are a mix of dorms (4/6/8-bed, mostly mixed) and privates with en-suite bathrooms. There's a shared kitchen that works but isn't a highlight — people eat out in Nice.

This is the hostel for travellers who want maximum social exposure in a walkable location: solo backpackers who plan to meet people by the bar, groups of three or four who want one spot to base a long weekend, and anyone who prioritises 'I want to party' over 'I want to sleep'. If quiet is what you want, La Maïoun or HI Les Camélias are better calls.
