The common spaces are genuinely beautiful, not the plastic-chair-and-fluorescent-light setup you get in most hostels. The capsule beds are a smart design. More privacy than a bunk, cheaper than a private room. Being 2 minutes from Alexanderplatz means you're connected to everywhere, but Singerstraße itself is quiet. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Berlin's hostel scene. The only gap: no garden or outdoor space, which stings in Berlin's gorgeous summers.
