Access from the 3rd floor, small but genuine — two benches, some potted plants, and a view north-east across the rooftops to the Elbe and (on clear days) the Ministry of Finance dome on the south bank. Guests use it morning and evening, and in summer the owners set out tea lights. No bar, no service — you bring your own drink up from the kitchen.
The shared kitchen is on the ground floor — full-size fridge, two-hob stove, pots, pans, kettle, toaster. Edeka supermarket 3 min walk on Bautzner Strasse. No breakfast served — the owner decided it wasn't worth the overhead for 7 rooms. There's a cafe-patisserie called Kaffee Albert across the square where a coffee and Eierschecke runs €5.50.
