§ 01 — Summary

MoHo L is the Śródmieście arm of the MoHo aparthostel mini-chain (four MoHo properties across Wroclaw). At ul. Henryka Pobożnego 25/1 on the east edge of the Old Town ring road, 12 min walk to the Rynek. 8.3 rating across 789 reviews. Rooms are apartment-style — private bathroom, parquet floor, kitchenette in each unit. Mid-range price (€20 bed), zero social vibe, hotel-predictable quality.

§ 02 — The full story

MoHo L sits on ul. Henryka Pobożnego in Śródmieście, the district immediately east of the Old Town ring. You're 12 min walk from the Rynek along ul. Świdnicka or 6 min tram-ride from pl. Dominikański, with the Panorama Racławicka and the University of Wroclaw both 10 min away on foot. Dworzec Główny is 8 min walk south.

MoHo is a small Wroclaw-only chain (four properties: MoHo L, MoHo S, MoHo M, MoHo XL) built on the aparthostel concept — every room is effectively a studio apartment. You get a private bathroom, a kitchenette with a two-hob, microwave, fridge, and kettle, a dining table, parquet floors, a wardrobe, and a flat-screen TV. Family rooms are bigger studios with the same layout. This is more boutique-apartment-rental than traditional hostel, at hostel pricing.

What you don't get: a shared kitchen (your kitchenette is all you cook on), a common room (there's a small lobby with a coffee machine but no sofas), a bar, a social programme, or a front-desk recommendation circuit. Staff are efficient, friendly, and English-speaking, but don't expect the 'hang out with us and we'll take you on a pub crawl' energy of RYNEK 30.

The Pobożnego location is the hostel's main weakness — you're outside the Rynek ring and the walk passes through the less scenic part of Śródmieście. In return you get a genuinely quiet night (the street is residential), cheaper groceries at the Biedronka on ul. Komuny Paryskiej 3 min away, and proximity to the Hala Targowa covered market on Piaskowa (9 min walk) where locals actually shop. It works as a longer-stay base for someone who values predictability over central walkability.

§ 03 — Why we love it
  • 01Private bathroom and kitchenette in every room — aparthostel model at hostel prices, rare in Poland and unique to the MoHo brand in Wroclaw
  • 02Quiet residential street in Śródmieście means you actually sleep, no weekend-night Rynek noise bleeding into the dorms
  • 03Parquet floors, flat-screen TV, proper furniture — the room feels like a studio apartment, not a hostel dorm with a microwave
  • 04Predictable quality across 789 reviews — if L is full, sister properties MoHo S, M, and XL deliver the same experience at the same price
  • 05Hala Targowa covered market 9 min walk for local-price groceries; Dworzec Główny 8 min for quick departures to Berlin or Krakow

It's really close to the old town and you can move around on foot. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. Good value for money. The private bathroom and kitchenette made a huge difference for a 4-night stay.

Apartment-style rooms at hostel prices. We cooked in the kitchenette most evenings and saved a lot. 12-min walk to the Rynek was fine, tram works well. Staff was professional. Nothing exciting but everything works.

Booked as solo female traveller for a week. Quiet street, key-code entry, felt safe. Studio was small but perfect for one — my own bathroom was the best part. Hala Targowa market 10 min away, made it feel like living here.
