Gallery Hostel sits on Rua Miguel Bombarda, the row of contemporary galleries and indie shops that runs through Cedofeita. The building is a restored 19th-century townhouse; inside it feels less like a hostel and more like a small boutique with a lived-in lounge, a walled garden, and a sun-deck terrace at the back.
The calling card is the en-suite dorms. Every shared room has its own private bathroom attached (no midnight queue at the corridor door), and the beds are full-width bunks with reading lights, privacy curtains, and lockers big enough for a 40L pack.
