Dragons Dream's 5 pm to 7 pm is the more serious product: two floors of seating, the bar stays open until midnight so you can keep the €2 Laško rolling if you don't want to leave, and the Premier League broadcasts on Saturday afternoons catch the 5 pm kickoffs exactly. I had 3 Laško and a spritz for €9.50, which is what one €8 cocktail at Nebotičnik rooftop costs. Celica's happy hour in the garden courtyard is more atmospheric (gravel yard, Metelkova murals two meters away, actual sunset visible through the gates) but the price reduction is smaller (€3 versus €4 draft, not €2 versus €4). I had 2 beers and a glass of Malvazija for €9, equivalent pricing to the Old Town but with infinitely better ambiance. Pick Dragons for the pure math. Pick Celica for the view plus ambiance plus the bar-crawl bleed at 9 pm.”
