Tips for Choosing a Hostel with Bike Rental in Chania

Tip Nº 01

Best ride from any of these hostels: east along Akti Miaouli to Halepa (passing Eleftherios Venizelos House), then back along the harbour. Sunset hour, 90 minutes total, mostly flat.

Tip Nº 02

If you want to ride to Falassarna or Balos, you need a scooter or car — the road climbs out of Chania immediately and is shoulder-less. Rent a scooter from Stathis or Manolis (both 5 min walk from Cocoon).

Bring a credit card or €50 cash deposit; passport copy stays at the hostel until you return the bike.
