Little Havana is the Old Town's loudest party hostel and makes no apology for it. If the point of your stay in Krakow is meeting the other backpackers currently in Krakow, the daily bar crawl and the free-entry Latino club downstairs will get you there faster than anywhere else in the city. Specifically pick it for your first one or two nights, then downshift to somewhere quieter in Kazimierz if you want to actually see Wawel without a hangover. Tip: the 10-bed dorm on the top floor gets noticeably less nightclub bass than the lower floors โ worth asking for if you plan to sleep before 3am.

- 1Book Auschwitz direct via auschwitz.org rather than through the hostel's tour desk โ the hostel package adds a 30% markup and the state tours have English guides at 08:30.
- 2The Latino club downstairs runs Thursday-Saturday โ arrive Wednesday and the first night is quieter than you might expect.
- 3Ask for a top-floor dorm (floors 3 or 4) โ the bass from the basement club is half the volume compared to floor 1.
- 4Zapiekanki at Endzior in Plac Nowy, 12 min walk through Kazimierz, is the correct 3am food run โ skip the Old Town pizza slice places.

๐ The Full Story
Little Havana occupies a corner plot on Jagielloลska, 160 metres from the Main Market Square. Three bars, a foosball room, and a downstairs Latino dance floor mean you rarely need to leave the building to drink, but Kazimierz is a 12-minute walk when you want a change of scene. The daily bar crawl leaves at 21:00 and hits five venues across the Old Town.
Rooms are adults-only dorms (4 to 10 beds) and private doubles. Individual sockets by every bed, lockers in the dorms, linens included. The front desk runs 24/7 and sells combined Wieliczka + Auschwitz day-trip packages that undercut the hostel-reseller desks on Floriaลska. Breakfast is a small add-on (15 PLN).
It is loud, it is full, and it is unapologetically a party house. Go in expecting that. The sound insulation between the nightclub and the upper floors is decent but not perfect โ if you want sleep before 2am, this is not your hostel.
