“I stayed at YoHo for two nights in October 2025 and went to the bar both evenings. Night 1 was a quiet Tuesday — maybe 15 guests in the bar, 8 of us at the Sound of Music screening. By the third song the volunteer bartender Hannah had organized a sing-along to "Do-Re-Mi" and I'd swapped Hallstatt tips with two German backpackers and an American on a Vienna-Salzburg-Munich loop. Night 2 was Friday — DJ on, 60 guests in the bar, happy hour at 17h pulled the train-arrival wave. Different crowd, same energy. Both nights ended at 22h with the group walking 12 min to Augustiner Bräu Mülln. The hostel bar didn't replace Augustiner — it was the social tee-up.”
