The hostel itself occupies the upper floors and penthouse level. Rooms are clean with decent-sized lockers under the beds, fans for noise control, and hot showers. It's adults-only, which keeps the atmosphere slightly more mature than family-friendly alternatives.

The shared kitchen is a real asset in Temple Bar, where restaurant prices are inflated. You can cook your own meals and then head downstairs for the music and a pint or two without needing to eat out. There's also a library corner and fast internet.

The trade-off is noise. You're in Temple Bar. On Friday and Saturday nights, the street noise is unavoidable. But that's also the entire point of staying here. If you want quiet, pick Gardiner House.
