“I caught the OTYH Tuesday acoustic by accident on my second night — I'd checked into Centrum down the lane, walked into the courtyard around 21:00 because the music was loud enough to hear from Trg od Oružja. Three local guys (one OTYH volunteer, two his friends from a band in Tivat) playing Bregović covers and old Yugoslav folk. Maybe twenty backpackers sitting on the courtyard stones with beers from the honesty bar. I stayed for the whole set, ended up walking with them to Letrika at 23:00 when the courtyard quiet hours kicked in. The next night I went to Bandiera for the DJ set — different crowd, harder beats, sun-deck dancing instead of courtyard sitting. The night after that was the 4U DJ night on the bay; I walked the 6 minutes north along the promenade and arrived to find the same people from Bandiera. That's Kotor live music: small town, overlapping circuits, and you'll see the same faces three nights running.”
